All Nations Dedicates Church Building

Updated: 3 days ago

The All Nations congregation in Bloomington have rented church space over the last few decades, waiting patiently for something permanent. In 2022, they finally acquired and their own church building. The former Bloomington Baptist Church on Alexander Rd. is now the home of All Nations Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Illinois Conference president John Grys offered the Sabbath sermon, "Building a Life." Elder Grys used Solomon's dedication of the temple in 2 Chronicles 6 to lead all in wonder at the fact that God dwells with us. Every building we inhabit to worship God is only temporary and should point us to the only place that can contain God: the eternal expanse above.

The high Sabbath festivities also included Pastor Luque baptizing four people, followed by a celebratory potluck meal. Keep Pastor Luque and the All Nations congregation in your prayers as they worship and do ministry in their new space.
